Black Leadership and Opportunity Center

The SJSU Black Leadership and Opportunity Center (The BLOC) serves to holistically empower, uplift, and develop all students in the African Diaspora through strengthening and building community bonds, encouraging a positive Black identity, and providing social and academic support.

Center for Asian Pacific Islander Student Empowerment

The Center for Asian Pacific Islander Student Empowerment provides community-building and cultural and academic empowerment opportunities for Asian and Pacific Islander students at SJSU.

Chicanx/Latinx Student Success Center

The Chicanx/Latinx Student Success Center (CLSSC, also known as Centro) understands and responds to Latinx students unique needs through campus community advocacy and student empowerment. Centro is a culturally-sustaining, academically-affirming space where students, staff, and faculty can collaborate to find new and effective ways of increasing Latinx student persistence, retention, and graduation rates.

Gender Equity Center

The Gender Equity Center (GenEC) advocates for social justice, respect, and safety for all members of the SJSU community, by educating on issues experienced by people because of their gender, gender identity, and/or their perceived gender/gender identity, through an intersectional lens.

MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center

The MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center provides a safe and welcoming environment that honors and celebrates diversity. We offer support, advocacy for historically underrepresented groups, leadership opportunities, and intentional programming that focus on critical thought, social justice, and cultural empowerment for the SJSU community.

Native American Indigenous Student Success Center (NAISSC)

The Native American Indigenous Student Success Center (NAISSC) affirms and supports Native American Indigenous students unique needs by promoting cultural, ancestral, and community relations as key elements that advance Indigenous student success. NAISSC is grounded in community relations, and on behalf of the NAISSC community, we look forward to connecting with you.

PRIDE Center

The PRIDE Center supports the LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Questioning, Asexual, Nonbinary, etc.) students of SJSU. Through dynamic programming and educational outreach the PRIDE Center seeks to improve the campus climate for LGBTQ+ students and advocate for the respect and safety of all members of the campus community.

UndocuSpartan Resource Center

The UndocuSpartan Student Resource Center (USRC) is invested in creating educational opportunities that will further the success of UndocuSpartans at SJSU. The USRC uses a cross-cultural and social justice lens to provide holistic support and resources to undocumented students and the campus community.

Academic Advising and General Edcuation

We provide advising for SJSU students on General Education requirements and related policies for Undeclared Students, International Students and those on probation or disqualified.  We support Undeclared and Undeclared Pre-Nursing students with course planning, major exploration and timely progress towards degree completion.   We also provide transition advising through Frosh and Transfer Orientations.

The College of Health and Human Sciences (CHHS) Student Success Center (SSC) at SJSU is a central point of contact for all new and continuing students pursuing CHHS majors to provide advising and academic support related resources to facilitate student success.

Lucas College and Graduate School of Business Jack Holland Student Success Center

The Jack Holland Student Success Center is the central advisement office for all undergraduate business majors.  We help with academic planning, the graduation application process, understanding college and university policies and procedures, career coaching, and advice for students on academic probation or those disqualified from SJSU.

SJSU Lurie College of Education undergraduate, graduate, credential, and doctoral students should utilize our services, which include academic advising, professional development workshops, mentoring, networking events, and access to university, college, and career resources.

Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering Student Success Center

The Engineering Student Success Center (ESSC) at SJSU provides General Education advising services and student success programs for the undergraduate students. ESSC Advising including : Pre-major Success Pathways, Lower division pathways, Probation/DQ.

The Humanities and the Arts Student Success Center creates a positive and inclusive environment in which our students feel affirmed and supported. The H&A Student Success Center strives to provide quality academic advising in order to empower students and to address their individual needs, enhancing their experience at SJSU and ensuring a timely graduation.
