CJ Jones
CJ Jones is an assistant professor of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies in the
College of Social Sciences. Their research focuses on transgender athletes, anti-trans
feminisms, and trans athlete policies.
She is an expert in trans sports history, anti-trans activism, trans activism in sports, and trans politics and history in the United States. They hold a BA in History from Syracuse University, an MA in American Studies from University at Buffalo, SUNY, and a PhD in Feminist Studies from UC Santa Barbara.
