Student Involvement oversees all fraternities, sororities, clubs, and other student organizations at SJSU. We also host campus events and leadership programs that make it easy and fun to get involved!

Learn more about fraternity and sorority life at SJSU, where we have over 40 active Greek chapters.

Join a Club

Clubs and student groups are known as “Recognized Student Orgs” (RSOs) at SJSU. Learn how to join one—or start your own!

Each year SJSU welcomes acclaimed speakers including prominent authors, artists, activists and more.

Weeks of Welcome

Student Involvement organizes information about spirit-filled programs, special events, live music and free food (!) at the beginning of each semester as we welcome new Spartans to SJSU. The first 4 to 6 weeks of the semester are commonly referred to as "Weeks of Welcome" and typically include more than 90 events for students!

Finals Support

Need a scantron or snack on the way to your final. We have you covered! Student Involvement organizes resource tables with free snacks, test supplies, and other resources during Finals Week.

Getting involved at SJSU isn’t just fun and games! Participating in activities can help you build connections within the campus community while also boosting your critical thinking, communication, life and leadership skills.
