Description

Register-transfer level (RTL) design, functional verification, and FPGA validation of the following: (1) instruction-set processors, (2) complex functional units (IPs) and peripheral controllers, (3) integrated embedded computing systems. All assignments/course projects require use of industry standard EDA tools and FPGA devices.

Prerequisites: CMPE200 and CMPE240, or instructor's consent; undergraduate students with good performance in CMPE125 and CMPE140 may be considered.
