Bio
Majoring in cognitive psychology and specializing in psycholinguistics, Professor
Huntsman received her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee
in 1991. She received her B.A. and M.A. in Psychology from San Jose State University
in 1984 and 1986, respectively. Professor Huntsman has been teaching at San Jose
State University since 1986. She has taught cognition, elementary statistics, experimental
psychology, advanced research methods, scientific writing workshop, psychology of
language, and general psychology seminar. Her research efforts are focused on reading
and word recognition.
