Bio
Mike is in his fifth year teaching acting at SJSU. As a theater professional, Mike has directed/choreographed for California Conservatory Theater, Hillbarn, San Jose Children's Musical Theater, Actors Theater Center, BJF Productions, Theater in the Mountains, Sunnyvale Players, Starting Arts, Jewel Theatre, and The Workhouse Theater in NYC.
A 28-year member of Actors' Equity Association, Mike has appeared in over 100 productions across the country including: New York and Tour: 42nd Street (3rd National), A House on a Hill (Dramatist Guild), A Glimpse of the Light (Producers Club), The Rate of Falling (Workhouse Theater). Regional and Stock: Evita (Music Theater of Oregon), Crazy for You (Santa Barbara Civic Light Opera), Hello Dolly! (Woodminster), A Chorus Line (Barn Theater), Lucky Stiff (California Conservatory Theater).
Mike was a fixture with American Musical Theater of San Jose, appearing in 40 shows including Lee Harvey Oswald in Assassins, The Tinman in The Wizard of Oz, Patrick Dennis in Mame, Young Buddy in Follies, Samuel in The Pirates of Penzance, Mahoney/Del DaCosta in City of Angels, and Burt Healy in Annie. As an associate artist at Jewel Theatre in Santa Cruz, Mike has been seen recently in I Do! I Do!; Peggy, The Musical; Starting Here, Starting Now; and The House of Blue Leaves.
