Bio
Dr. Nada Attar's research focuses on Computer Vision, Ethics in AI, and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
She has been involved in projects such as eye-tracking in: automated vehicles; HCI for cognitive state measurement, gender and ethnic bias for social good; computer vision in climate change and coastal resilience preprocessing and object and contour detection, gender classification and pose estimation; and ethical AI models to investigate biases in datasets, algorithms, and user behavior. Her work includes the CIRCLE project, funded by Mozilla, which promotes responsible computing.
