PHYS 50 - General Physics - Classical Mechanics
This course is the first semester in the calculus-based University Physics for science and engineering majors. It covers Classical Newtonian Mechanics, Particle Kinematics and dynamics, work and energy, linear momentum, rotational motion, Fluid Dynamics, Vibrations, Sound and Waves. Prerequisites are Math 30/30P. Familiar with Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and Calculus are essential.
