Bio

Dr. Sharo Qi is currently a senior lecturer of the Department of Global Innovation and Leadership, the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business. She holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She had broad experience ranging from being an educational researcher at Stanford Research Institution (SRI) International to product manager at a well-known S&P 500 information technology company, as well as being an entrepreneur for emerging market before she joined San Jose State University (SJSU) in 2014. Since she joined SJSU, she has been teaching the operations management class and project management class across both undergraduate program and graduate program, and she has received very positive student evaluation feedback due to her rich industry background, real-world cases, and constructed teaching style. She has also been very active in campus services and academic research. Her research interests include both mental health operations management and policy reformation impact and AI research tools evaluations. See selected peer-reviewed publications below.
