Bio
Stacy Gleixner is the Associate Vice President for Student and Faculty Success at San Jose State University. She manages support services for faculty and students in Academic Affairs and co-leads SJSU’s student success and graduation initiatives. Prior to that, she was the Chief of Staff to SJSU’s President from 2014-2016. Stacy joined SJSU as a professor in Biomedical, Chemical and Materials Engineering in 1999. She has also served as the Associate Chair of the Biomedical, Chemical and Materials Engineering Department and Director of San Jose State’s Microscale Process Engineering Lab. Throughout her career, Stacy has worked on student success issues and supporting women and underrepresented students in STEM. A first generation college student herself, she is passionate about using data and innovative strategies to ensure all students succeed.
