Bio
Stephen Eckstone, Ph.D. has built a strong reputation in the field of higher education marketing. His primary areas of expertise include strategic planning, image development, qualitative research, research design and creative development.
Dr. Eckstone combines a wide range of professional marketing experience with a keen understanding of the specialized needs of higher education and not-for-profit organizations. His work has been instrumental in the adoption of strategic approaches to marketing, recruitment and retention of students. His doctoral dissertation, “The Rhetoric of the Vietnam War,” is considered an important resource for scholars in the field of communication studies.
This past November, Dr. Eckstone presented his paper, Generation Y: Changing the Way Colleges Communicate at the American Marketing Association National Conference on the Marketing of Higher Education.
