Bio
Prof. Scaff has taught English, Comparative Literature, and Humanities at the Univ of Arizona, Penn State Univ, and San Jose State Univ, where she has been on the faculty since 1998. She teaches in the Humanities Honors Program and also teaches upper division courses in European Studies, including some online. Her area of specialization is European modernism, and she has published a book on German novelist Thomas Mann along with articles on Mann, James Joyce, Charlotte Bronte, and Christa Wolf.
