The general goals of 100W are that students will develop advanced proficiency in college-level writing and appropriate contemporary research strategies and methodologies to communicate effectively to both specialized and general audiences. In Psychology 100W, students are given the opportunity to develop writing skills appropriate to the broad field of psychology, including essays, reports, and scholarly communication. The required lectures, handouts, and readings will be the main source of information. I look forward to meeting you on the first day of class.
