Somos SJSU has been a cross-divisional, collaborative effort among faculty, staff, administrators, and students. Many of those who shaped the Somos SJSU framework have long been involved in campus HSI efforts, from the Latinx Student Success Task Force that ran from 2013 to 2018, through the launch of the Chicanx/Latinx Student Success Center in 2018.
