Department Convocation

The Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies (CCS) would like to celebrate your hard work and determination in completing your academic program. Our department celebration is open to all graduates who are:

• CCS Master’s program
• CCS Majors or Minors
• Students involved in SAHE and MEChA

This event is separate from the Chicanx/Latinx Year-End Celebration (formerly known as Chicano Commencement), which is open to all majors across the university. You can choose to participate in one or both. It's up to you!
