What Changes with Our Course
Ten Saturdays, in a room, with instructors. Not a video you watch at 1.5x while answering email. Structure you can't quietly abandon in week three.
Two kinds of expertise, on purpose. The course is co-taught by SJSU HR faculty and senior HR practitioners. The exam tests both what you know and how you'd decide. So do we.
Direct work on situational judgment. We spend class time on the reasoning the exam rewards, not on content you already know from doing the job.
Optional instructor-led study sessions. Between class meetings, work through quiz questions with an instructor and find out why the right answer is right.
You'll know where you stand before exam day. The final session includes a full practice exam and individual feedback on your readiness. No one leaves guessing.
"I had the opportunity to experience both online and in-person training, and the online training was not a good experience at all. You cannot speak to the instructor/teacher, and I did not learn anything. The in-person training at SJSU SHRM program was one of the best experiences, and I learned so much from some of the instructors. They all provided a different educational experience. I am very thankful for this experience."
