- Complete Application – Spring 2026 application opens November 3, 2025
- Attend the MESA Kick-Off at the start of the semester

Spring 2026 Admissions
- Application Opens: Monday, November 3, 2025
- Application Deadline: Tuesday, January 13, 2026
Eligibility
Only students meeting the following criteria will be considered for admission:
Status
- Regularly matriculated undergraduate students at San José State University
- Graduating seniors are not eligible
Major
Eligible majors: Engineering (including Aviation & Industrial Technology), Computer Science, or Data
Science
Other majors: Students who are undeclared or in other majors but intend to transfer into Engineering
or Computer Science may also apply
Priority Consideration
Students with demonstrated economic or educational disadvantage (e.g., low income, first-generation college student) will receive priority consideration.
