I have been teaching at SJSU as an Adjunct Professor since 1996 when I graduated from the Counselor Education Department. Pakistan is my country of origin and where I spent the first 18 years of my life before moving to the United States as an international student. I double majored in Psychology and Theatre at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, GA. I went on to obtain my MA in Counselor Education at SJSU and due to my passion for group work became certified first as a Practitioner and then as a Teacher, Educator and Practitioner of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama.
