Bio
My fields are law and economics, labor economics, and health economics. My research is on occupational licensing, health, and crime. I have taught graduate and undergraduate courses at San Jose State University, including Law and Economics (ECON 141, ECON 241); Labor Economics (ECON 151, ECON 251); and both ECON 100W and ECON 205. I have also taught Intermediate Microeconomics and Industrial Organization at George Mason University.
I am a Senior Research Fellow with the Knee Regulatory Research Center at West Virginia University and the co-founder of the Finance and Economics Women's Network (FEW).
Previously, I was a Capitol Hill reporter for the Pennsylvania Independent.
