If you're a graduate student at SJSU, then you are eligible for the Certificate in Real Estate Development (CRED Program). Graduate students who are relying on CRED Program credits to meet their university graduation requirements should send an email to the Urban Planning, MUP Graduate Advisor. For more information, contact the CRED Director.
Open University (OU) Students
OU students will only be able to register for CRED classes on the first day of the semester. Don't worry, there will be space for you! You may contact the CRED Director and/or the class instructor for an add code.
Scott Lefaver Planning and Real Estate Tuition Reimbursement
The CRED Program offers a scholarship reimbursement that will pay for two of the required CRED classes, URBP 206 and URBP 208 - whether you are an OU student or working toward a graduate degree.
Eligibility details:
- available for up to 15 students in each URBP 206 and URBP 208 classes
- must earn a "B" grade or better in each class
- you must have successfully completed or be enrolled in URBP 205
- you may apply for reimbursement twice for successful completion of URBP 206 and/or URBP 208
To apply:
- As soon as your grades are posted for URBP 206 or URBP 208, complete this GoogleDoc: School Lefaver Planning and Real Estate Development Certificate.
- Email a .pdf of your unofficial trascript to the CRED Director with the subject: Lefaver Scholarship Transcripts - (your last name).
- If you are an OU student, additional forms will be required, the School office will be in contact.
- Processing takes approximately 4-6 weeks.
