MS in Speech-Language PathologyThe MS in Engineering, specialization in Smart Sustainable Energy Systems (SSES), currently the only online sustainable energy program in the U.S., prepares you with graduate-level skills to design and integrate clean energy into our modern world. Complete this degree in two years.
California has set goals that will fuel job growth in the energy industry, one of them being that by 2035, 100% of new cars and light trucks sold in California will be zero-emission vehicles. Join other professionals in gaining the essential knowledge to facilitate this growth by developing and enhancing smart energy systems to manage various renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power.
This cohort program provides the opportunity for networking while learning from home.

Renewable resources
In California alone, the renewable portfolio standard (RPS) requires 60% of retail electricity sales to come from renewable resources by 2030 and 100% by 2045. Join other professionals in achieving these goals with this degree.
Career Opportunities
- Recently enacted California climate laws are projected to create 4 million new jobs over the next two decades in the state's transition to clean energy.
- Approximately 156,000 jobs were added across the clean energy and clean vehicle industry in 2021, and in 2022 jobs building electric vehicles grew by a dramatic 26 percent, according to E2.org.
- California’s choice to end gasoline-only new car sales by 2035 will sharply cut emissions while also being realistic for the industry, according to a reuters.com article. This will increase employment in clean energy and create jobs.
