Request A Training
We, in the Office for Civil Rights and Title IX, are available to deliver trainings on any of the topics listed below. You may also request a tailored training to meet your specific needs.
- The CSU Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Exploitation, Dating Violence, Domestic Violence, Stalking and Retaliation
- Responsible Employees: The Duty to Report, with Tips for Responding to a Disclosure
- The Distinction Between Privacy and Confidentiality
- The Wellbeing Attendant Policy
- How to be an Effective Wellbeing Attendant
To request a training, complete the below “Request a Training” form.
Mandatory Annual Online Education for Students and Employees
Students
All students (including transfer and graduate students) must complete the online training via Canvas titled, Student Title IX Course.
This training is required annually, and will need to be completed, as directed, each year that students are enrolled at SJSU.

Employees
New Employees
All employees are required to complete the annual online training titled, Gender Equity and Title IX.
Continuing Employees
All managers, supervisors, and lead employees are required to complete an additional online training every two years titled, CSU's Discrimination Harassment Prevention Program for Supervisors.
All non-supervisory employees are required to complete an online training every two years titled, CSU's Discrimination Harassment Prevention Program for Non-Supervisors.
