California State Cybersecurity Regional Alliances and Multistakeholder Partnership Pilot Program Award, (PI Melody Moh, co-PI Xiao Su), in the amount of $1,000,000, for 3 years, for promoting cybersecurity education programs that will result in the development of skilled workforce to address the shortage of cybersecurity professionals in the State.

Responsible Computing Challenge Grant by Mozilla

Responsible Computing Challenge Grant provided by Mozilla for a collaborative research project title: "CIRCLE: Cross-campus Interdisciplinary Responsible Computing Learning Experiences," for 1-year (July/2023 - June/2024), in the amount of $150,000, awarded to Co-PI CS Prof. Nada Attar, working with Darra Hofman, Souvick Ghosh, and Michele Villagran (all three from the School of Information).

NSF grant awarded for a collaborative research

NSF grant for a collaborative research was awarded to CS Prof. Faranak Abri, working with Dr. Namin and Dr. Jones (both Texas Tech. University) for a collaborative research project title: "SaTC: CORE: Small: Analytical Models for Conversational Social Engineering Attacks." , for 3-years (Oct/2023 - Sept./2026), in the amount of $200,000 (for each PI).

NSF grant for Women in Machine Learning-based Cybersecurity

NSF grant was awarded to Prof. Fabio Di Troia, (with Prof. Younghee Park of CMPE) on Undergraduate Research Experience for Women in Machine Learning-based Cybersecurity (3 years). The grant is over $370,000.

NSF grant awarded to empower low-income students

NSF grant for S-STEM: Empowering Low-Income Students to Succeed in Engineering and Computer Science, was awarded to Prof. William Andreopoulos, with Dr. Jetcheva and Dr. Rojas (both Computer Engineering) as PIs, and Dr. Wiggins (Sociology ) and Dr. Gutmann (Physics) as co-PIs, in the amount of $2,499,411 for 6-years (7/15/2023 - 6/30/2029).
