Program Overview

This customized Master of Science in Engineering, specialization in Optoelectronic Systems degree program is targeted to meet the business needs of KLA Company. The program covers engineering analysis fundamentals, optics, sensors, lasers, detectors and other optoelectronic components, and provides opportunities to students to specialize in optical sensing. The program offers a number of other elective courses such as object-oriented data structure and imaging technology.

For the convenience of working students, the program offers one course at a time, each with a duration of 11 weeks, including one evening per week from 4:00 - 8:00pm. Courses are taught by both SJSU faculty and senior KLA staff to meet KLA's business needs. There will be 6 credits of project work based on case studies specific to KLA.
