International House
Fall 2025 Frosh Live-On Requirement Suspended
With an increased number of classes online for Academic Year 2025-2026, the University is suspending the Frosh Live-On requirement. No freshman will be required to live on campus during the 2025-2026 academic year. Mandatory Freshmen do not need to complete and submit an exemption form.
International House
For opportunities to make friends from the U.S. and around the world while living in a safe and supportive environment, apply to live at International House! International House (I-House) is home to 70 residents, offering double and triple occupancy rooms. I-House houses U.S. and international students. Residents come each semester from approximately 25 countries on 5 continents, study in various majors across the university, and range in age from 17 to early 30s.
Mandatory Meal Plans
Meal Plans are mandatory for all residents living in I-House. Housing rates will vary depending on the meal plan chosen. Meal Plan selection is part of the Housing Application process. I-House residents may select one of the Block Plans, Social or I-House Meal Plan. Please select your meal plan as you are completing your Housing Application. Amenities
I-House offers a cozy and unique environment with a comfortable and nostalgic living room, a large dining room, and a TV room where residents can hold meetings, play games, or just relax and watch television. Each living space offers a high-speed internet connection with wireless service in all common areas, an on-site laundry facility, but does not have air conditioning. Inside the International House, we also provide two billiards tables, a ping pong table, musical equipment, a computer lab, and a study room.
I-House residents also have access to the Resident Activity Center (RAC) located in Campus Village Building B, which offers a gaming area with air hockey, ping pong, and pool. The RAC also has 4 meeting rooms and a Computer Lab which also offers Roku boxes available for check out, and gaming stations. We also offer a courtesy desk at I-House during the academic year to assist you.
Typical layout
Rooms at I-House are fully furnished with twin, extra long beds, dressers, chairs, etc. and a walk-in closet. Bedrooms are double occupancy rooms designed and furnished for two people. Some rooms offer triple occupancy, with three students sharing one bedroom. Triple bedrooms are limited.
Room Furnishings
Double occupancy rooms are furnished with two of each of the following: extra long twin beds, desks, chairs, dressers, bookshelves, and closets. Triple rooms are furnished with three of each of the above (only two closets and bookshelves). Each room includes one towel rack, wastebasket, and paper recycling bin. Floors are carpeted, and windows are furnished with drapes. Please note that beds are not furnished with pillows, blanket, or other linen.
Parking
A limited number of reserved outdoor parking spaces are available at the I-House. Parking is $50 per month and applications are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. Parking is also available to I-House residents in the Campus Village garage. The Campus Village garage features two levels of limited underground parking for students, and bicycle racks on either side of Building B.
