Sumeet Syal is an entrepreneur, tech executive, and educator with over 30 years of global experience in large corporations and Silicon Valley startups. He is the founder of 3Doshas.com, an award-winning coaching & consulting company featured on Bloomberg TV and Apple TV. Most recently, he was Vice President and General Manager at Intel Corporation, leading global sales, marketing, and technology alignment for Fortune 300 Enterprises, Hyperscalers, and Strategic AI-as-a-Service Providers. He has extensive experience scaling new technology products and has forged many B2B partnerships across various tech giants & enterprises.
Sumeet started his career in engineering at Silicon Valley startups that were acquired
by industry leaders. He then moved to Singapore, spearheading Intel's Asia-Pacific
regional expansion and mastered Asian business practices & marketing as an expat.
Later, he transitioned to product management, leading Intel's go-to-market strategy
for
smartphone & wearable products where his insights were featured in major publications
like CNET, TechCrunch, and Business Insider. Sumeet then pivoted to business-focused
roles, ultimately becoming Intel's Vice President & GM of Global Sales & Marketing.
In this role, he closed high-stakes negotiations, securing multi-billion-dollar deals
with tech giants such as Google, Apple, Dell, and HP. Over the course of his executive
career, he guided many global teams across sales, brand marketing, business development,
product management, and engineering.
Sumeet is a passionate leader, consistently ranked among top Intel executives for
transforming teams into high performing, resilient organizations. As a Stanford-trained
executive in Leading Change & Organization Development and a UC Berkeley-Haas Certified
Executive Coach, he now coaches Silicon Valley startup founders, executives
and their leadership teams using 3Doshas science-based methodology. Sumeet holds dual
MBAs from UCLA Anderson and the National University of Singapore, and a B.S. in Computer
Engineering from Cal Poly, SLO. He teaches Management of Tech & AI Innovations, Leadership
& Marketing at San Jose State University's College of
Information, Data, & Society, Santa Clara University's Graduate School of Engineering,
and UC Santa Cruz.
