Make an Appointment

Peer Connections offers both in-person and virtual appointments, with availability depending on our Peer Educators' schedules. If you have any questions, please contact us at peerconnections@sjsu.edu and we will do our best to accomodate you.

How to Schedule Appointments:

Visit Spartan Connect and log in using your SJSU student ID number and password. Click on the blue "Appointments, Drop-ins, and Workshops & Events" button and follow the prompts.

Be sure to select our "Peer Connections" location to see our appointment schedule:

  • Course-Based Tutoring: support for course content 
  • Undergraduate Student Writing: for support writing in any undergraduate course
  • Graduate Student Writing: for support writing for a graduate course
  • Time Management: for support using time management strategies
  • Study Strategies: for support developing/using study strategies
  • Stress Management: for support developing/using stress management strategies
  • Campus Resources: Learn more about campus resources
  • Mentoring - Spartan Phalanx: to meet with a mentor if you are in the Spartan Phalanx program
  • Mentoring - Transfer Student: to meet with a mentor for support around transitioning from another college/university
  • Mentor Class Related: to meet with your course mentor (if applicable)
  • Mentoring - Other: to meet with a mentor for other reasons that don't seem to fit in the categories above

You must be a currently enrolled student to participate in our programs. 

Services via Zoom

Our virtual sessions are done using Zoom. Should you schedule an virtual appointment, the login instructions for your session will be sent to you by your tutor or mentor.
