Summer Tutoring (June 1-August 7)

Small group tutoring (1-3 students) is available for select courses during Summer Session. In-person and virtual options available.

Appointments

Tutoring is available for select courses, by appointment. Sessions take place in small groups (usually 1-3 people) with others who are taking the same course. Appointments may be in person or online.

Students may self-schedule tutoring appointments on Spartan Connect for classes that they are enrolled in. There is a limit of 1 appt/week, per subject (1 writing, 1 math, etc), with up to 3 total appointments scheduled at a time. 

Looking for a course that isn't listed on the schedule? We may be able to connect you with a tutor with similar/related experience. Contact us with your needs and we will do our best to help!

Drop-In Tutoring

Drop-in tutoring for Math 18A, 18B, 19, 30, 31, 32, and 70 is available on Mondays and Thursdays from 10am-4pm in The MATH Place, located in conference room SSC 601 in the Peer Connections center. No appointment required, stay as long as you like. See schedule below for details.

Drop-in tutoring is available for other subjects, but limited. Appointments will receive priority, but if tutors are not booked, they are available to receive drop-ins. If a small group session is about to begin for the same subject, you may be able to join in, but once a session begins, you will need to wait for the next one. Before you come in, first call our Welcome Desk at (408) 924-2587 to make sure there is an available tutor.
