Supporting Students During VTA Work Stoppage

Dear Colleagues,

As you may be aware, there is an ongoing work stoppage at the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), which is impacting public transit service throughout the region. Many members of our campus community, including students, rely on VTA for transportation to and from campus.

We recognize that this disruption may create challenges for students in attending class, arriving on time, or meeting in-person commitments. I encourage you to be mindful of these impacts and to offer reasonable flexibility where possible.

Your support in helping students manage their academic responsibilities during this period is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your continued dedication to student success as well as for the understanding you extend to colleagues who also are navigating the disruption.
