How to Participate

First-year students entering SJSU in the fall semester receive a free copy of the Campus Reading book selection. New first-time freshmen who need a copy in an alternate format may contact SJSU's Accessible Education Center at (408) 924-6000. 

Staff and faculty are also encouraged to participate in the Campus Reading Program by reading the book, integrating the campus reading book into their courses and co-curricular activities, and attending related programming on campus.  Please contact us if you'd like a free copy.

The book selection committee is comprised of faculty and staff across campus who share a love of reading. This voluntary group meets during the academic year and is always open to new members. If you would like to join us, please email the committee.
