New Advising Structure
As of June 01, 2025, the College of Science Student Success Center will oversee ALL Major and General Education (GE) Advising. If you have a Spring 2025 College of Science Advising Hold on your account, schedule an advising appointment for hold removal.

Lower Division Major & GE Advising
Students with less than 60 units earned schedule an appointment with their Student Academic Success Specialist.
Upper Division Major & GE Advising
Students with 60 or more units earned will schedule an appointment with their Academic Advisor.
Change of Major Advising
Students must apply to be considered for a change of major within or to the College of Science.
