Diana joined the College of Social Sciences team in November 2023 at San Jose State University. Before SJSU, Diana began her college career at California State University, Sacramento, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Chicano/a Studies. It was there that she discovered her passion through mentoring roles and working with students as a Resident Advisor. 

As a first-generation student, Diana initially struggled with adjusting to college and navigating resources but ultimately found success through the support of mentors she met along the way. In Summer 2025, she earned her Master of Arts in Higher Education Leadership from San Jose State University.

Within her current role, Diana aspires to be a supportive guide for students as they transition into college, helping them access the resources and encouragement they need to thrive.
