Narcan Distribution Program & Fentanyl Test Strips

Narcan Distribution Program

Welcome to San José State’s Narcan Distribution Program.

All Spartans have a role in supporting our community’s health. Thank you for your interest. You can play a critical role in saving lives and stopping drug overdoses through the use of Narcan.

To receive Narcan at no cost from SJSU, students, staff, and faculty need to complete the Narcan Distribution Program training once per academic year.

The training can be accessed at any time and will take no more than 20 minutes to complete. SJSU community members are encouraged to complete the training to learn important information about the opioid crisis and how to administer Narcan. To preview or get a refresher of the training, view the video only on the Alcohol and Other Drugs webpage.

Once you have completed the training, you will receive an email with pick up instructions. Narcan can be picked up at the front desk of the Wellness Lounge (Student Wellness Center) during business hours.
