2027-28 WSCUC Reaffirmation
We are preparing for our next WSCUC (WASC Senior College and University Commission) reaffirmation of accreditation. Reaffirmation is how WSCUC confirms that SJSU continues to meet rigorous standards of academic quality, student success, and institutional effectiveness. This process is an opportunity to reflect on our progress, celebrate our achievements, and plan boldly for the future.
We have a detailed timeline of milestones and activities in this multi-year effort, but at a broad level, the reaffirmation process includes the following key components:
- Engaging in campus-wide reflection and evidence gathering (Fall 2025 - Spring 2027);
- Preparing an Institutional Report (Spring and Summer 2027); and
- Hosting peer review visits from WSCUC representatives (Spring 2028).
Reaffirmation Can’t Happen Without YOU!
Your engagement is critical as we prepare our 2027 Institutional Report and 2028 site visit. The ARC committee will bring together faculty, staff, and students to tell our collective story about how we live our institutional mission and goals. Check back here often for the latest opportunities to contribute to the conversation!
