Canvas with Purpose Workshop Series
In this four-part hybrid workshop series, you will use your current Canvas course as a foundation! You'll learn simple, time-saving techniques that you can quickly apply without starting from scratch!
This workshop series is based on the Quick Canvas Checklist, a comprehensive and easy-to-follow Canvas course review checklist. We will explore the following areas related to teaching on Canvas:
- Session 1: Build a Strong Course Structure
- Tuesday, September 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Session 2: Engage Your Learners
- Wednesday, September 23 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Session 3: Assess What Matters
- Thursday, October 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- Session 4: Faculty Idea Exchange
- Wednesday, November 18 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Location and Requirements
Each session will be hybrid (both in-person in Clark Hall and Zoom options). Light refreshments will be provided to those attending in-person. To earn a certificate, all sessions must be attended.
Application Deadline
The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. on August 25, 2026. We will let you know the cohort selection by August 28th.
