Emancipatory Education
Liberatory Ed for Marginalized Learners
Grounded in both the rich diversity and innovative nature of our region, we navigate
the complexities of liberatory education, bilingual teacher readiness, instructor
preparation for intersectional communities, and the nexus of language and identity
through research and scholarship. Our research aims to counter destabilizing forces, regenerate futures, and support
the educational needs of marginalized communities. Below is a rotating selection of our standout investigators in these areas.
