Join the Environmental Resource Center on Tower Lawn as we celebrate Earth month with
the 56th annual Earth Day fair! This year’s Earth Day theme, “Protect the Flow, Help
Earth Grow,” highlights the importance of protecting the natural systems that sustain
life. Ranging from water and nutrient cycles to community-based sustainability efforts,
the environment thrives when these systems can function properly and balance each
other. By protecting these flows of resources, knowledge, and action, we can create
a future of regeneration, resilience, and future growth. Come check out different
environmental organizations, performances, guest speakers, free food, and our annual
Sustainable Fashion Show!

Sustainable Fashion Show: Dress to Express
Sustainable Fashion Show: Dress to Express
Date: Thursday, April 23rd
Time: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Location: Tower Lawn
This semester, the Environmental Resource Center is bringing back the fashion show
for Earth Day! This fashion show's overall goal is to promote and spread awareness
of second-chance sustainable fashion. We encourage you to create an outfit with thrifted
pieces or upcycled materials! The overall theme is Dress to Express, with our subcategory
being fashion subcultures. The term "subculture" refers to a group of people within
a larger culture that share something in common, often deviating from mainstream norms.
This can be reflected in how people talk, dress, and in their beliefs. Fashion subcultures
include dressing in line with certain aesthetics, styles, or movements.
