Relocated: Student Supportive Services
Vital student supportive services are now located in the newly-named Student Support and Global Engagement Suite on the north side of the Student Union across from the Engineering Building and Clark Hall. This move keeps key resources close to the heart of student activity.

Football Season Opener at Home vs. Central Michigan
Cheer on your Spartans at this year’s football home opener at CEFCU Stadium. Start the Block Party with San José Sharks at 5 p.m. near the South Campus volleyball courts with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. All employees get up to four free tickets for the first three home games with the promo code FACSTAFF25.

Nearly 250 people changed locations to better support student and employee services. These moves will continue through next fall as strategic investments are completed in the Administration building, Clark Hall, Student Services Center and the Instructional Resource Center, to support contemporary work needs. Keep an eye on department websites for updated locations.

Take a walk down the Paseo de San Antonio to the Downtown Farmers Market outside the Hammer Theater Center every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Hot weather at the start of fall semester can cause heat-related risks to personal health. Limit outdoor activities and classes between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. when temperatures rise to the 90s.

University Housing Services Welcome New Residents
Congratulations to 150+ UHS staff who worked tirelessly to welcome hundreds of families over two days who moved in 3,744 residents to all eight housing sites. Of the total 5,005 residents expected this year, 3,224 are new to university housing. Demand remains high with waitlists for Apartments and SVP thanks to the staff’s promotion and marketing. Thank UHS team members when you see them!
