Accreditation
The Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). As such we maintain the highest standards in early childhood education and care using the The 10 NAEYC Program Standards which include:

Santa Clara County Quality Rating Improvement Scale (QRIS)
The Associated Students Child Development Center is contracted with the California
Department of Education for Preschool and California Department of Social Services
for Infant/Toddler funding. The CDC was rated by the CDE for quality standards in
Child Observation, Developmental and Health Screenings, Qualifications of Primary
Educators, Effective Teacher-Child Interactions: CLASS Assessments, Ratio and Group
Size, Program Environment Rating Scales, and Director Qualifications. We are pleased
to announce that the ASCDC has earned and maintained the highest overall rating, Platinum,
Tier 5 since 2015. As a result, the CDC has been awarded QRIS Grants and will be eligible
for future QRIS Grant awards from the State of California.
Recertification
