Vice President Goals

  • Make Board meetings and other internal procedures more efficient

  • Begin the strategic planning process, which focuses on creating long-term goals for Associated Students

  • Expand opportunities for students to get involved with A.S.

  • Oversee A.S.'s continued involvement in the Filipino American History Mural project and advocate for other underrepresented groups

Vice President Responsibilities

  • serve as Chair of the Board of Directors

  • serve as Vice Chair of the Executive Committee and Personnel Committee

  • serve as a Student Senator on the Academic Senate

  • perform the duties of the A.S. President in their absence

  • plan and implement the training program of the Board of Directors

  • report to the Board of Directors on changes in faculty affairs and professional standards

  • plan the A.S. 55 award process with the help of Government Staff

  • provide a liaison report on the activities of the Vice President for Strategy and Institutional Affairs
