High Hazard Travel (International)
For all international travel, please check U.S. Department of State Travel Advisories and the CSURMA's High Hazardous Country List [pdf] to determine whether your destination is considered "high hazard."
If traveling to a high hazard country:
- Complete the Travel to High Hazardous Countries Request [DocuSign] to get pre-approval from your Approving Official. Include a copy with your travel authorization request in FTS.
- Submit your travel authorization request [pdf] well in advance; the travel authorization must arrive at the President's Office at least 45 days before the department date. This will give 2 weeks to obtain President's Office approval (and Chancellors Office approval for War Risk Countries). This will also allow time for the university to procure international travel insurance.
